Event Details
The AIDS Run/Walk for Life was started by AIDS Project Rhode Island in the mid-1980s—part of a wave of grassroots fundraisers held across the country to provide support to those affected by HIV.
Today the Run/Walk for Life includes both a 5k run and a 1 mile walk, which raises much-needed funding that allows us to continue our mission to provide compassionate, non-judgmental, and a collaborative response to people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV.

Events: 5K Run or 1-Mile Walk

Online registration will close at 8 pm on Thursday, April 30th, 2026.
In-person registration will be available on the day of the event!
Course Description
The 5k Run and 1-Mile Walk will both start and finish on the track at Pierce Memorial Stadium.
