Event Details
Kick off your holiday season with Run Rhody at the Downtown Jingle 5K in Providence, RI, on Sunday, December 14th, 2025! This race is fast, festive and FUN for the entire family, with both 5K Run/Walk and Kids Race events. Parents are welcome to run with their kids! Holiday attire is encouraged.
After the race, we’ll meet you at Moonshine Alley for a FREE Chair 2 beer, 10% off food, and acoustic music. Moonshine Alley is located at 52 Pine St, a short walk from the start/finish line.
We’re proud to be collecting toy donations for Toys for Tots on-site as well as donations for Amos House in Providence, RI. We invite all participants to join us in supporting these great causes for the holidays.

RUN RHODY GRAND SLAM:
Looking for an extra challenge this fall? The Downtown Jingle 5K also serves as the grand finale of the Run Rhody Grand Slam, a four-race series from September through December. Those who complete the Grand Slam will receive a Run Rhody gift as well as a Finisher’s Medal.
Select the Grand Slam bundle at registration and save on the Downtown 5K, Providence Monster Dash, Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot, and Downtown Jingle 5K entry fees. Please note, the first race of the series, the IGT Downtown 5K, is on Sunday, September 14th.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS
If you are participating in the race virtually, we encourage you to pick up your race shirt from us at a Pre-Race Packet Pickup if you are able to. If you cannot make it, we will mail your shirt to the address provided on RunSignUp AFTER race day.
To submit your virtual results, you will head to RunRhody.com and select “Result” from the top navigation menu. From there, select 2025 and the race name, which will bring you to the results page. You will click a button on the top of the page that says “SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS” to submit your time.
Virtual participation DOES count toward any of our race series, including the Run Rhody Grand Slam, the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, and the Tour de Patrick series.

The 5k course starts and finish on Memorial Blvd. in Providence and travels through scenic Downtown Providence past the State House and along the Providence River.
