ABOUT THE RACE

Join us for the annual Providence Monster dash on Sunday, October 27, 2024 in Downtown Providence, RI. Celebrate Halloween FUN with loved ones and run or walk this FUN Halloween 5K. Don’t forget the kids! Our kids race is open to children 12 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their kids. After the race, join us for an epic after party (details TBA)!

RUN RHODY GRAND SLAM

Looking for an extra challenge this fall? The Providence Monster Dash 5K also serves as the second race in the Run Rhody Grand Slam, a four-race series from September through December. Select the Grand Slam bundle at registration and save on the Downtown 5K, Providence Monster Dash, Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot, and Downtown Jingle 5K entry fees. Please note, the first race of the series, the IGT Downtown 5K, is on Sunday, September 15th. Complete the four-race series and earn the 2024 Run Rhody Grand Slam finisher’s medal as well as a Run Rhody hat!

COSTUME CONTEST

$100 for the best individual costume.
$200 for the best team costume. Minimum of three people for the team costume contest.

To enter, see our race photographer at the finish line before the race. After the race, finalists will be shared on social media for public voting. Winners in each category will be announced on Monday, October 28th on social media and email.

EVENTS

Kids Dash Run
Approximately 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under.
Parents may run with their children.
9:30 am Start Time.

5K Run/Walk
3.1 Miles. As always, walkers are welcome.
Please Note: no pets allowed and strolled must start in the back for safety reasons.
10am Start Time.
